Precast concrete wall panels with uneven thicknesses are connected using angle ledgers and bent plate ledgers supported by shim plates where shim plate thickness equals the difference between two panels. The connection details show steel plate ledgers welded to embedded or back-up plates with quarter-inch or five-sixteenths fillet welds along three sides as specified. Corner conditions illustrate an angle ledger or bent plate ledger with cut horizontal legs, bent, and welded. Anchor bolt or welded stud alternatives utilize the same size and spacing secured with Hilti HIT-RE 500-V3 epoxy adhesive or approved equal.
