Open-web steel joists are laterally braced using bolted horizontal and diagonal bridging angles. The bridging assembly connects to a vertical angle spanning the height of the joist depth, which is fastened directly to the tilt-up concrete wall panel. Five-eighths-inch diameter expansion bolts or three-quarter-inch Titen HD anchors with four-and-a-half-inch embedment secure the connection into the concrete.
