Wall girts are stabilized vertically using threaded sag rods connected with nuts and washers at mid-span and supported by stiffener plates on the framing members. The sag rods feature six inches of minimum threading at each end, spaced three inches typically from the girt web centerline. Girt arrangements vary by elevation, tying back to the primary gridline with top and bottom rod connections.
