A cold-formed steel track matches the depth and gauge of the wall stud and connects with two number ten self-tapping sheet metal screws on each stud. At partial-height walls, the track anchors to the concrete slab on grade with one-half-inch diameter by two-and-one-half-inch long Hilti KH-EZ anchors at four-feet zero-inches on-center maximum, supplemented by two minimum per wall with zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter by one-and-three-quarter-inch embedment Hilti X-U shot pins spaced at sixteen inches on-center in between. At full-height walls, the track secures directly to the concrete slab with zero-point-one-five-seven-inch diameter by one-and-three-quarter-inch embedment Hilti X-U shot pins at eight inches on-center.
