A moment frame beam connects to a moment frame column using proprietary side plate connections detailed on separate drawings. Moment frame beams frame into the column flanges with bolted side plates on both sides of the web and flanges. A steel beam supports the metal roof deck overhead, with member sizes and framing layouts specified per the structural plan and schedule.
