A make-up air unit weighing up to 3500 pounds is suspended using three 1/2-inch diameter hanger rods on each side, uniformly spaced along the unit. The unit is supported below by hollow structural section HSS2x2x1/4 bottom supports and an HSS4x4x1/4 cross beam. Wide flange beams per plan tie into the framing assembly. Simpson L50 clips are anchored with two per side for a total of eight at the exterior wall. A weld callout references sheet S1.6 for field connections.
