A partial-height interior metal stud wall connects to an overhead metal deck using slotted tracks and jamb studs sized per schedule. A one-half-inch gap is maintained between the track and the deck assembly. Clip attachments and track plates secure the jamb studs to the deck structure. Typical plates and track attachments are detailed for both perpendicular and parallel wall orientations relative to the deck flutes.
