A concrete slab on grade control joint features a prepared subgrade. A saw-cut measuring one-eighth inch wide by one-quarter of the slab thickness deep forms the control joint. Slab reinforcement and thickness are specified per structural plans. Subgrade preparation is completed according to the geotechnical report.
