A continuous steel bearing angle sized L3x3x1/4 is mounted perpendicular to the deck flutes to support the metal roof deck. The angle secures to the masonry wall using a 3/8-inch by 8-inch by 0'-4" embed plate fastened with two 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch heavy-duty sleeve anchors spaced at 32 inches on center. A bridging attachment composed of an L3x3x1/4 angle matching the joist depth connects to the masonry wall using two 5/8-inch diameter by 4-inch post-installed anchors. Additional bridging where it occurs is provided by the joist supplier and welded per the manufacturer specifications.
