A concrete curb sits atop a concrete slab over metal deck, oriented perpendicular to the deck corrugations. The curb is reinforced with a continuous number 4 bar near the top and vertical number 4 bars spaced at 12 inches on center centered with standard hooks and alternating hooks. Additional number 4 bars are provided for curb heights greater than 8 inches. The curb dimensions are sized per architectural requirements with an 8-inch maximum width and a 2D maximum height above the top of slab elevation.
