A wide flange beam frames into a hollow structural section column with slip-critical bolted connections utilizing framing angles and full girder depth stiffeners. A metal deck floor system bears over the structural framing members. The slip-critical connection is similar to detail 1 on sheet S6.1, and the full depth stiffeners are detailed on sheet 3 of S6.1. The wide flange beam size is specified per the structural plan.
