A hollow structural section measuring six inches by four inches acts as the post, receiving a centering half-inch plate welded with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld on both sides at the top. The assembly integrates with a six-inch support component positioned per elevation drawings. Any erection aids utilized during installation must be completely removed after field welding is finished.
