A soffit framing assembly is constructed using 362S125-33 metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center, running horizontally between an existing concrete wall and a vertical drop assembly. The framing connects to the concrete wall using anchors, and typical connections utilize four number ten screws. The vertical drop incorporates 362S123-33 metal studs, 362T150-43 tracks, and a 1000S200-68 stud member at the outer corner. Angle clips of size L3x3x12 gauge are positioned at each side of the metal stud, secured with three number ten sheet metal screws at each leg. A continuous 20 gauge track supports the suspended ceiling condition as verified with architecture.
