A precast concrete wall panel connects to a concrete structure using a half-inch thick by eight-inch by one-foot zero-inch base plate anchored with six three-quarter-inch diameter by zero-foot six-inch welded studs and full penetration welds. A bent plate measuring one-half inch thick by four inches by one-foot zero inches connects via four three-quarter-inch diameter by zero-foot four-inch welded studs on one leg and three number-six by three-foot zero-inch reinforcing bars on the other leg with full penetration welds. A plate measuring one-half inch by ten inches by zero-foot ten inches is welded with seven-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on three sides. Wire mesh is tack-welded to the steel and the pocket is filled with non-shrink grout after welding.
