A structural steel beam supports a concrete slab over a metal deck per plan. Three-quarter inch diameter headed stud anchors welded to the top flange provide composite action. Reinforcing bars measuring number four by six feet are spaced at twenty-four inches on center and layered into the reinforcement mat, centered over the beam at columns only with three-quarter inch clearance. Chair reinforcement is provided as required, and lifting reinforcement during the pour is prohibited.
