Reinforcement modifications accommodate a single pipe penetration through a concrete foundation beam with inadequate clearance to the bottom of the beam. Double stirrups are placed on each side of the penetration, with longitudinal stirrups extended to suit the localized drop. Additional U-shaped reinforcing bars feature standard ninety-degree bends sized to match the longitudinal reinforcement.
