A thickened concrete slab transitions to a stair stringer with a centered thickened section measuring one foot six inches wide and one foot deep. The assembly is reinforced with three continuous number five bottom bars and number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center. The concrete slab rests on prepared subgrade over standard under slab preparation.
