Mechanical equipment is supported on structural framing spanning between steel bar joists spaced at eight feet zero inches on center. The assembly incorporates three-inch full-width nailers, four-inch or six-inch blocking, and Simpson 'HU' hangers or 'BA' or 'WP' hangers depending on the equipment weight and configuration. Leveling platforms utilize four-inch shaped continuous members all around secured with one-half-inch diameter lag screws at twenty-four inches on center with four inches of embedment into the framing member below the roof sheathing. Prefabricated level curb anchorage is provided by the manufacturer to suit mechanical equipment, with sizing based on maximum weights ranging from nine hundred to twenty-five hundred pounds.
