A wide flange beam frames into a structural steel truss, utilizing a three-eighths-inch by five-inch by five-inch plate with an erection bolt as required. One-quarter-inch fillet welds attach the plate and members, configured for either shop or field application at the contractor's option. A channel is included where indicated per the reference plan.
