An incoming horizontal truss connects to a structural steel column using a shear plate and top and bottom stiffener plates sized per the horizontal truss schedule. Complete joint penetration welds secure the connection components to the column flange. Connection plates are provided as required per the horizontal truss schedule for incoming beam and truss connections.
