Bottom and top reinforcing bars lap splice with a length of "Ld" or twelve bar diameters with a twelve inch minimum, maintaining a maximum one inch offset and a one and one half inch spacing or wired in contact. Column vertical reinforcement offsets with a maximum one to six slope ratio for lap splicing.
