A continuous concrete footing supports an exterior foundation wall and adjacent slab on grade. The footing width and depth are sized per schedule with continuous longitudinal reinforcing and stirrups. Vertical dowels match the wall vertical reinforcing and lap into the footing. Additional number four dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center tie the slab on grade into the foundation wall.
