An existing W10x89 steel column connects to a one-inch by twenty-inch square base plate welded with five-sixteenth-inch typical fillet welds. A five-eighth-inch continuity plate is installed after the web plate. The entire assembly bears on an E3 flowable epoxy grout layer by Euclid ranging from one-half inch minimum to one and one-half inch maximum thickness over an isolator base.
