Roof deck bears on pre-engineered roof joists with cross bridging installed at each end per the joist manufacturer. Bottom chord bridging is provided as specified, but is omitted at conflicts with mechanical ductwork from architectural and mechanical drawings. X-bridging by the joist manufacturer is placed on each side of the duct where a routing conflict occurs.
