Lateral reinforcement includes number three ties spaced at eight inches on center, with three additional ties provided in the top five inches of the pier. Two number three hoops are specified at the top of the pier, spaced at eight inches on center with three additional hoops in the top five inches. The pier width is thirteen inches, with dimensions and layout to be verified per the structural plan.
