A precast concrete wall panel ties into a reinforced concrete footing or pad with embedded steel plates and reinforcing dowels. A 3/8-inch by 4-inch by 1-foot 4-inch steel plate is anchored below the footing top with #6 reinforcing bars spaced at 6 inches on center. The precast panel bears on the assembly near the finished floor line, maintaining a 4-inch minimum concrete cover over exposed plates as specified in the drawing notes.
