A gusset plate connects to a structural steel brace member using a three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolt for temporary alignment. The intersection incorporates a defined corner radius dimensioned as half the gusset thickness plus one-sixteenth of an inch. Erection clearance is provided as needed along the plate interface.
