An equipment base plate is secured with four 1/2-inch diameter Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors passing through holes in the rail or plate per the manufacturer. The anchors achieve a 2 1/2-inch embedment into the concrete pad. The equipment has a maximum operating weight of 2211 pounds and a maximum height above the concrete pad to the center of gravity of 1 foot 8 1/2 inches. The minimum distance from the center of any anchor to the edge of the slab or construction joint must be maintained at 8 inches.
