Bolt-hole pattern layout procedure for a braced frame connection between structural steel columns, beams, and diagonal bracing. The overall procedure requires establishing the uppermost bolt-hole at distance Lbh from the lower-most bolt-hole, and laying out the upper bolt-hole pattern similar to the lower pattern. Dimension Lwp-h need not be maintained at the top of the brace. Concrete blockout requirements and minimum bolt tensioning procedures are cross-referenced to specific secondary details.
