A buckling-restrained brace frame connection anchors to a concrete foundation. A buckling-restrained brace connects to a gusset plate with a specified thickness, welded with five-sixteenths inch fillet welds. One-half inch stiffener plates are welded to the near side and far side of the gusset plate. The gusset plate ties into a base plate anchored over a concrete block-out in the concrete slab on grade. Base plate and anchor bolt information is referenced to the elevations.
