Buckling-restrained braces frame into a steel column flange at a common work point with intersecting beams and stubs. Continuity plates are welded to the column flanges using complete joint penetration welds on three sides typically. Buckling-restrained braces are positioned per the elevation drawings where occurring, connecting back to gusset plates. Beam stubs connect to the framing per plan specifications, tied into the structural grid.
