A concrete slab over metal deck and reinforcement bears on a steel beam detailed per plan, with a structural steel beam connection as specified on sheet 6/S5.101. An edge angle per detail 11/S5.101 is provided at the slab perimeter. A steel stud framing member aligns with the grid, tied back to the assembly using a Simpson SCB clip secured with two number 10 screws at each stud.
