An L 4 x 4 x 68 mil by 1 foot 4 inch long angle clip is anchored to the underside of a concrete-filled metal deck perpendicular to the flutes. At the concrete and metal deck, attachment uses two 0.157-inch-diameter Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners with 1 1/4-inch embedment at each flute for a total of four fasteners. At the metal deck only, attachment uses four number 12 self-tapping screws at each flute for a total of four fasteners perpendicular to the flutes. A stud kicker of size and spacing per wall sections connects to the clip using four number 10 self-tapping screws.
