A concrete slab over metal floor deck bears on a steel beam supported by a perpendicular steel beam. A one-quarter inch typical fillet weld connects framing members, with a one-half inch headed stud anchor embedded in the concrete slab. A web stiffener is provided on the supporting steel beam per general structural notes. For slab edge overhangs greater than twelve inches, refer to detail B1 on sheet S601.
