The steel stair stringer is supported by a 3x3x5/16-inch angle clip measuring 6 inches in length, which connects to the slab-on-grade. A 3/4-inch diameter expansion bolt secures the angle clip through the concrete. The continuous thickened slab footing measures 1 foot 6 inches wide with a 12-inch depth and is reinforced with two continuous number 5 rebars. A quarter-inch fillet weld joins the angle clip to the connecting plate.
