A twelve-inch wide reinforced concrete retaining wall is supported by a continuous concrete footing with sizing per plan. The wall features number five vertical reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center each way and each face, with a three-quarter inch typical chamfer at the top of the wall. A one and one-half inch square by one-eighth inch thick guard rail post is anchored into a two and one-half inch square by one-quarter inch thick by zero foot eight inch sleeve embedded in the top of the wall, surrounded by number three ties at twelve inches on center and two inches typical concrete clearance. A truck dock slab connects to the wall face per civil drawings, while a wall drain is coordinated per sheet S-5512. The footing is reinforced with number six longitudinal bars top and bottom at eight inches on center and number five ties at eight inches on center, maintaining three inches of typical concrete clearance to the underside.
