Metal deck openings may be unreinforced up to a maximum thirteen-inch diameter or square cut centered on the deck low flute, provided a maximum of two webs and one low flute are cut. Alternatively, a six-inch maximum unreinforced hole may be located at random with a maximum of one low flute cut.
