A concrete foundation wall sits on a stepped concrete footing, reinforced with continuous top and bottom footing reinforcement matching the schedule and plan. Z-bars are provided to match the continuous footing reinforcement where steps occur. Vertical and horizontal wall reinforcement dowels extend from the footing up into the foundation wall above. The step height is sized per plan with a three-foot four-inch maximum unless noted otherwise, and the overlap length equals twice the step height minimum.
