A post-tensioned concrete slab dead end anchorage assembly is reinforced with two continuous number four backup bars and number three hairpins measuring thirty inches in length. Post-tensioning tendons and slab reinforcing are installed per plan with support bars as required. Two continuous number four hairpins are positioned around the anchorage zone with spacing and anchorage detailed on sheet S5.30. Clearances include a two inch minimum edge distance and a three-eighths thickness dimension for the tendon layout.
