An open-web steel joist bears on an angle seat welded to a steel embed plate anchored into the concrete tilt-up wall panel. The embed plate is secured to the concrete using headed stud anchors welded to the back of the plate. Reinforcing bars run vertically within the concrete panel behind the anchorage zone. The joist rests on the horizontal leg of the support angle.
