Unreinforced round openings in a three-inch Type N roof deck are permitted up to five and one-half inches in diameter maximum when located in the high flute. Openings in a one and one-half-inch Type HSB roof deck are permitted up to four and one-half inches in diameter maximum when similarly located in the high flute.
