Post-pour slab and deck openings up to two feet maximum are reinforced with steel angles welded to full-height deck flutes on each side. A one-sixteenth inch typical weld connects the L1-1/2x1-1/2x1/4 angles to the two full-height deck flutes typically on each side. Round openings are placed where required, and no reinforcing is required for openings less than six inches.
