Footings bear on engineered structural fill extending down to native soils per plan and the soils report. A free draining granular base supports the slab-on-grade with a vapor barrier installed as required by the soils report. Finish grade slopes away from the structure with a minimum six-inch vertical drop. Backfill and fill geometry are dimensioned with width equal to depth.
