Cold-formed steel stud infill framing is anchored to a structural steel beam sized per plan. The assembly uses 162S125-33 minimum studs spaced at 16 inches on center at beam depths of 14 inches or greater as required for finish attachment on both sides as occurs. Powder-actuated fasteners secure the typical track to the structural steel beam at 24 inches on center. The connection incorporates number 8 sheet metal screws on a typical basis, with stud width increased as required.
