A 600S162-54 unpunched metal stud backing track spans between metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center maximum. The backing track has its flanges cut to clear the studs. Each end of the backing track connects to the metal stud using four number ten sheet metal screws. The assembly supports wall finishes as indicated.
