The steel stair stringer consists of a channel member welded to an embed plate cast into the concrete floor slab. A short length of angle is welded to each stringer and centered over the embed plate. The embed plate measures three-quarters of an inch by twelve inches by one foot zero inches and is anchored into the slab concrete with four one-half-inch diameter deformed bar anchors featuring standard hooks. Fillet welds of one-quarter-inch size are applied along three sides as indicated. Tread and riser plates are coordinated per architectural drawings.
