An elevator rail support tube bears on an L8x6x1/2x1'-0" steel angle anchored to the top of a concrete footing or slab. Two 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch headed studs welded to the angle are embedded into the concrete at a 45-degree angle. A 1/4-inch typical fillet weld connects the rail support tube to the steel angle.
