A twenty gauge galvanized steel collar is installed on exposed wall sides only and secured to the wall on six inch centers with a minimum of four fasteners per side. A two-inch by two-inch by one-quarter-inch angle is tack welded or riveted to the duct sleeve. The wall construction is coordinated per architectural and structural drawings.
