The metal roof deck bears directly on a sixteen gauge track atop the wall stud. A sixteen gauge closure plate caps the edge of the metal deck and is secured with number twelve sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center. Two rows of number twelve sheet metal screws spaced at six inches on center fasten the metal deck to the track.
