The tilt-up wall panel rests on a one-inch grout pad atop a concrete footing, with two shim packs provided per panel. If point loading at the shim packs is not acceptable, the contractor must place non-shrink grout under the panel within thirty-six hours of erection. The panel is secured to the footing with number eight drift pins, one foot long, installed eighteen inches from each end and grouted into place. A number four L-bar at forty-eight inches on center connects the panel to the slab, with an additional bar at panel ends and a one-hundred-eighty-degree hook at the exposed end. The slab-on-grade includes number four bars at twenty-four inches on center each way, with a two-foot lap splice to the panel reinforcement. A half-inch expansion joint is provided at the panel-to-slab interface, and a one-inch control joint is located in the slab as specified.
